The Inspection
It's about facts and evidence. We get the facts, know the facts, record the facts and present the facts and evidence to clients.
Facts are stubborn things; whatever may be our wishes, our inclination, or the dictates of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence.
Our wood flooring inspections are not typical by any stretch of the imagination. They are far more reaching. Each inspection is performed with excruciating thoroughness dealing with practical matters, hard working effort, good judgment, and skills and abilities to determine the overall condition of any wood floor installation.
We offer three kinds of inspections:
- Full Inspection, i.e. a complete analysis of the wood floor system and products, installation procedure, floor structural diaphragm, subfloor, nailing, adequacy of glue down products to subfloor panels or concrete, spacing at vertical obstructions, movement, moisture testing, acclimation process if that can be determined with accuracy, grade slope and drainage at foundations when necessary with photos included.
- Specific Issues, i.e. a cloudy finish, floor with gaps, squeaks, etc., with photos included.
- Expert Witness inspection of the physical property in preparation for court trials, i.e. a physical inspection of complaint, a Technical Report for review by you and your attorney, and photos.
